Doctors Team in Lotus-Villa

One team is employed full-time and is also responsible for the night service (this means that at least one physician is available 24 hours a day). Therefore, should you get pains or feel unwell during the night, you only need to ring the alarm bell at your bed and a physician will come and see you.
 
A second team consist of "freelance employees". These are physicians which are specialised in particular illnesses (similar to physicians trained in the west who often specialise) and are only consulted as required and paid separately, for example specialists in:

• Cancer (both before and after chemotherapy)
• Eyes / ears / nose / throat
• Haemorrhoids
• Pregnancy problems
• Joints (arthritis / rheumatism / osteoporosis / osteoarthritis)
• Skin (psoriasis / allergies / scars)
• Cirrhoses (Cirrosis of liver...)
• Psychological relaxation with music therapy
• Diabetes / insulin
• Overweight / underweight
• Asthma
• Apoplexy (stroke)
• Heart- and blood diseases/ illnesses
• Infectious diseases (prior arrangement required) etc.

Our head physician has two main specialist areas: on the one hand the treatment of haemorrhoids (she has also written a specialist book about it) and on the other hand the production of Ayurvedic medicine and Ayurvedic oils.
